It's My 8th Wedding Anniversary!!!

For Hubby,

It's our 8th Wedding Anniversary today,
So fast it's been 8 when some people think no way,
We've been stuck and unstuck like clay,
But we've been holding on, we are indeed OKAY.

Over the years there's been laughter and tears,
Without them, our moments won't be so clear
Without love, nothing will compare to what's dear
Tolerance and honesty is important as it is to lend an ear.

Understanding is quite a long and big word,
Using it and placing it into our lives saves hurt.
Listening is always the hardest part,
No matter what, do what's best from the heart.

I don't need celebrating at a biggie diner,
It's alright I'm up for a cuppa,
Even if it's mamak, the choice is yet bolder,
Wherever it is, you're there my hubba hubba.

Through this 8 years we've been through,
Ups and downs, argues isn't an issue,
There's more to learn more life to pursue
I need you, you need me to lean-to.

There's so much to say so much to express,
When we say we have 3 kids, no one would have guessed,
Families and friends with support we are blessed,
Love is the greatest, one thing we possess.

With 3 little devilish kids at hand
What comes later is never planned
Our kids have never play the what's on demand
Thou, they stay close just like a wristband

Hubby you've been a friend and always near
So, on this special day my dear
I wanna tell you, you're being loved
By me, your wife, you I deserve.

Finally….

I received my new laptop.. thanks to FIL and also Hubby for choosing the specs.

I dare not specify what are the specs because I’m not into them. All I told Hubby was as long as it’s FAST and it’s using WINDOWS not Mac. But I did chose the colour. Ha-ha.. before this, I was using Linux which was pretty crappy but after a few tries, I kinda love it and now.. I’ve got to leave the Linux behind and return to my WINDOWS. Geez here and there keeps my head spinning.

Hush Now…

Oh and my crappy old lappie keyboard, it decided not to fill me in without any notification. Hub had to get me a temporary USB keyboard. Arrgh after a few days, the alphabet keys went MIA. But, with my new keyboard.. Hub customize it to have lighted up keys. So amazing.. very useful for night use.

Turn off the lights!

And the heat.. you know how hot my old lappie can get? I think I could fry and egg. If it’s idle long enough, it could burn a hole in my bed sheets.

Ooo.. now that I can use Windows Live too, it’s so fantastic. I was using Pidgin; it was simple and straight forward and not too fancy like the new WLM. Still a virgin to this 2009 version. But once you got used to something, you’ll adapt….. like ME!

So.. back to my new laptop. It’s from DELL. I’m thinking of what to name it. Should it be a her or a him? Hmm.. most people call their precious stuff BABY, but I don’t think I’ll ever settle for that. I’ve got too many babies by my side. Maybe, I should just name it LAPPIE like always.

Gone is the old and arise is the new.
Back to the blog, blogging is kewl…
I’m so over the moon which is cool,
Lots to update lots to view!

Words From The Red Chair

YOU went to Dubai last Saturday,
Missing YOU so much from night till day,
Kids ask me where's Daddy? I'd say,
Flew to work coming back on Saturday.

Getting by the mornings were easy,
As chores are done kept me busy
Noons get by fast as you're often at work
Nights are the hardest like some-thing's on the lurk

Hard to communicate hard to reach
Stuck on YOU; keen as a leech
Kids behaved what YOU preached
Once or twice situation breached

Joe would sometimes call YOUr name
Judith would remind him of the same
Javier would say, 'where's my blue game?'
At the end of the day, the wild I will tame

Wondering how YOU're doing there
Is it full of surprises or they just give YOU the stare
How does the food experience fare
I ponder also while I'm sitting on our red chair

Everything is fine so don't worry
I can handle them YOU know they are corny
Notty they are but their antics makes me ooey
Reminds me of YOU never leaving me empty

Take care my dear; I'll see YOU very soon
Drink plenty of liquid; doing YOUrself a boon
Happy to hear from YOU; I'm over the moon
Sweet dreams my dear; just let me croon...

Poetry for Lappie

Lappie went into comatose yesterday
I don't know what happened, it turned gray
Hub is trying to fix it since last night till today
Temporary using Hub's XPS which is okay

My lappie brand is NEC
So as you can see,
It's Now Entering Comatose voluntarily

NEC gets heated up so easily
I could fry an egg but that would be silly
After 30 minutes it gets pretty heaty
I'm afraid it might BOOM oh dear me

If my lappie can't be fix,
I can't blog, check mail nor mix,
And everything will be done at half past six
Oh what a jinx

So sad if it's all gone
The kids' pictures and videos that I fond
Just wait and see nothing to be done
Wish I had other gadgets just like Bond

Using Hub's lappie is different
Though mine is tortoise; his is torrent
While mine is great; his is excellent
Still I'm used to what's current

Hopefully lappie recovers and be well
So, there will be more show and tell
I'm not saying it ain't good this DELL
It's just that familiarity I equally dwell

Plan B is, gone is the old, comes the new
Can't afford new, what to do...
Ponder and sigh with my many 'PHEWS'
Thinking hard, need a loan perhaps from YOU?

Hair DYE

I DYEd my hair today, I DYEd my hair at home

DYEd the same color I had that ain't a neutral tone
DYEd 666 that is of Loreal Excellence Cream
DYEd my hair with loving touch that need no further dream

DYEing starts from the roots and work my way to the ends
I twist and turn my hair with each bumpy bends
I love the given comb applicator for it eases my DYEing demand
I just squeeze and go through my hair without being reprimand

All I have to do is follow the step-by-step DYE procedure
It's so easy you don't even need to ponder
Once you get the hang of it, you'd definitely prefer
To DYE at the comfort of home to DYE without failure

Some would prefer to DYE at the saloon
For saloons prep you with shampoo and cologne
But I prefer to DYE DYE DYE alone
All I need is my black rubbish bag and my glove balloon

Pre-DYE > can you see my DIY DYE apron @ rubbish bag?

During the DYE > I've got gooey on my head and blood on my hands

Post DYE > total of 3 rinses and a white towel turned pink

Newly DYEd Hair >  can you see the beautiful bold color? ME likey!
