Aunt Monica's Place Episode 3

We visited Aunt Monica again a week ago. As usual the kids were really excited. I don't know they're excited more about seeing Duchess or Aunt Monica. Anyway, we were supposed to reach by 10am but Dad was taking his own tortoise time fussing this and that. In the end, we were about an hour late.

Inside Aunt Monica's house, there are a few different kind of animals.. they are:

Javier was stucked like this the whole time.. he didn't dare leave his corner as Duchess was craving for attention

Mommy wore super white.. she blended in with the sofa.. looked so angelic ya

Poor Duchess.. wanted to play but got tired after awhile of playing tug-of-war with Dad

Guesss Dad got tired of tugging too.. LOL!

After we chat a bit, Aunt Monica brought us out for lunch at a nearby shophouse at Seri Kembangan. Oooo.. the food was splendid which was rare during lunch hours. Even the herbal drink was so 'KAO' that I got goosebumps drinking it.

Aunt Monica's Place Episode 2

We had a second trip back to Aunt Monica's house. The kids were very excited. They kept bragging about seeing 'Duchess' again. Javier had been pondering since he came back from school from 12pm till 2pm. My dad dilly-dallied; as a result, Javier shot him annoying questions like, 'Why so long one?', 'Why haven't go one?', 'Faster-lah Grandpa!'.

This time, I'm well prepared bringing my camera along; hopefully to snap nice pics of 'Duchess' the toy poodle.

When we arrived, sat down, this was Javier's post! He remained seated at all times with a pillow to protect himself from 'Duchess'


Letf Right Left Right... our purpose of visiting Aunt Monica. Mom helped Aunt Monica to prepare the red cloth for the main door as Aunt Monica is going to be a mother-in-law again!!!


As the women brag around, the kids happily sit on the couch munching love letters. Aunt Monica purposely went out and bought a tin for them! YUP the word 'kid' also refers to my Dad! Kid at heart!

Aunt Monica's Place

Today, we went to visit Aunt Monica. Aunt Monica used to be my mom's neighbor back when we were staying in Taman Sri Aman. After we moved, Aunt Monica moved too. The kids and I haven't seen her in years. She looks great but a bit on the thinner side. The kids lurve the visit because they got to see Duchess. Haha wondering who is Duchess? Well, she is Aunt Monica's dog, a toy poodle. Duchess is soooo friendly. She loves kids and never once barked at Joe, Judith nor Javier. At first the kids were a little afraid of her but after awhile Judith got down and play. Then sooner, Joe also got around it. Javier, as usual is afraid of furry stuff; he kept screaming and jumping around on the couch, hiding behind my dad and mom. Then, when we wanted to leave, Duchess kept on barking asking us not to leave. She came with her squissy ball in her mouth tugging at our feet wanting to play 'fetch'. She's so cute and the kids already made a booking that they want the same dog as Aunt Monica.
