It's Still Christmas

As you know, Christmas lasts for 12 whole days. So, we try to make the best out of it during the weekend for the kids. On Saturday, we brought them to Pavilion to catch the movie, "Bedtime Stories". It was a family-friendly movie to remind us of the times we had bedtime stories.. I don't remember much of my childhood but I do know that I read myself to sleep every night. HaHa~ Maybe that's how I got my four eyes!

"Bedtime Stories" is a production by Disney in collaboration with Happy Madison Productions which

Adam Sandler owns. He himself is one of the main cast together along with
Guy Pearce who acted in The Count of Monte Cristo
Keri Russell from Felicity

Courtney Cox from Friends

Russell Brand whom you last saw in 'Forgetting Sarah Marshall'

Lucy Lawless also known as the famous XENA, Warrior Princess
This fun movie was directed by Adam Shankman who is also one of the judges on So You Think You Can Dance US version.

Oh, not to mention BUGSY the guinea pig with the gigantic eyes.

The kids love the storyline as each story that Uncle Skeeter tells to his nephew and niece during bedtime comes alive. All the stories are about himself; his alter egos, trying to the bend the storyline for his own benefits but to no avail he realized what's more important.

After the movie, we went to Carl's Jr. for a snack. Jake and I shared a burger while the kids had shakes and fries. On our way there, we were apprehended by....

A Youngling? So cute!!!

Joe and Judith got caught by a Storm Trooper and they're happy!

At Carl's Jr waiting for mommy to order the food

Javier showing off his rotten teeth

As for dinner, we went back to the affordable Thai Restaurant. It was Judith and Javier's first visit so they were very excited to be able to look at fishes while eating.

So early so many cars already... check out the black X-Trail.. ours. You definitely need a higher car to enter the hilly and rocky road. The kids loved the bumpy ride.

That's where we're going!!!

Boxing Day

I didn't have the chance to post what we did on Boxing Day with the kids. After Jake got back from work, and the kids waiting anxiously since morning, the kids finally opened their Christmas gifts. They were delighted tearing the wrappers out opening their own chosen gifts. We went to 'Toys R' Us' a week before and walk with them thoroughly the toy store and let them choose what they want. We've done that 2 years in a row. I know they won't get the surprised look but it's good to teach them patience. They've been good for week and it's a plus for me and Jake. Besides, surprises aren't only being reserved for Christmas.

Joe all smiles when it's time to open presents

Javier, upon retrieving his present from under the Christmas Tree

Javier tearing it up

Joe figuring where's the opening

Judith doesn't want anyone near hers

Finally they got them opened which left ME to pick up the unwanted wrappers!

Javier got wooden blocks. I don't know why he loves them so much. This is the 2nd bucket he has.

This time, it's packed nicely... had to use the cutter to slice through.

Joe doing the WOW thing while Javier takes a peek
(another Hot Wheels.. it's either that or trains-always something to do with tracks)

Judith got her baby which cries and coos

The baby with no name yet.. so cute

Now she has another child to mind

Judith's Doll House which she got for extra for her 'mommy-ing skills' looking after her brothers every now and then!

There we are... wrapping up Christmas Season. Opening a New Year and looking forward to more joys and unity among everything that matters!

Mom's Famous Trifle

My Mommy makes delicious trifle.

She has to make at least 2 trays because when we dig in, we really do DIG in. We cut in big triangular cuts and we gobbled it all away.. very often, the trifle tray will be emptied in a few days.

ooo.. the looks of the inner layer... looks so deliciously tempting, I think I'll go have one now.

Stockings Giveaways

Sis bought 3 stockings and filled them with goodies for Joe, Judith and Javier. So, on boxing day, sis gave them and they were so happy to dig into them.

The 3 stockings.. Santa stocking belongs to Judith while the other 2 Snowmen are the boys one.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day was so so so so busy. We had to do everything from scratch. Sis and me did the prep, mom and granny did the cooking, Jake made shepherd's pie, dad made the drinks and grandpa see what's there to help us.

It's was a hectic day that I didn't get to take any pictures...... of Myself. Hehe! Didn't get to snap the delicious food as well, sobs~ cause' I wanted to show you all the colors we had. Well, we were practically walking back and forth and at times, I didn't know where the kids were. But they were somewhere happily mingling with the crowd, making new friends.

The Christmas Tree overloaded with Christmas gifts for loved ones

Sis asked Judith to take this picture - check out her butterfly top

Elaine, all dolled up - and now in a butterfly dress from ASOS.com

Josephine, Uncle Yan and Judith

Oooo.. we also had a double celebration because it was also my granny's 74th birthday. I think there were about 30 people who sang the birthday song for her. She was very surprised that we bought a cake for her.

Granny soooo hap-pee.... we were singing the birthday song here

Grandpa was singing along too! This was the 'May The Good Lord Bless You' song

Granny making her wish! Can you see FIL and MIL at the back?
Yup... they came as well YAY! So great!
