when you're not looking....

A home with kids aren't necessarily need to be tidy. For me, I think a home with kids shouldn't be so neat. Not that I prefer a messy household, but I want my home to be filled with kids stuff. If my home were to be so wonderfully neat and tidy and everything is at its place, anyone won't believe if I were to tell them that I have 3 growing up kids, right?

What is a home without children?  Quiet.  ~ Henny Youngman

"A child reminds us that playtime is an essential part of our daily routine." -- Anonymous

Raising kids is part joy and part guerilla warfare. - Ed Asner.

Having a family is like having a bowling alley installed in your brain. - Martin Mull.

But again, a home with kids can be quite frustrating. Things will go everywhere. Chairs would be moved, scattered pillows would be scattered on the floor instead of scattered on the sofas', carpets would go out of place and worse of all; the living room does turn into their very own amusement park@WAR-ZONE area.

Then.. sometimes when you aren't looking and when you're not paying attention, this usually happens :

To their toys...
Judith's can't play and shop anymore

The bucket for blocks has been overturned and the base has been removed

Ultraman is faceless

Mario is headless or should I say brainless?

To decoratives - my mom's, to be exact :(

The top and bottom are gone

Look at cat on far right, one of its ears is gone

A 'beakless' duck

Cat's whiskers has been twist and turned upwards.. poor kitty

Well by the end of the day, I do ask them to clean up after their mess. Then the next day, it'll be the repeats of yesterdays and so and so. It's like a cycle; a healthy cycle.

Then... when they're not looking, here's what I caught them doing..

Judith combing her hair using a play fork

Javier laying on top of Joe when he was zzz...

Javier wrestling with Joe

Joe fighting back with his hand/foot technique

Yesterday was washing teddies day.. so I put all of their soft toys into the washing machines for both wet and dry spin.. I eventually took the other older Mickey Mouse that belongs to Javier for a wash too.. Here's how he reacted after having 2 Mickey Mouses now!!!
Now you see me?

Now you don't!

"Wall-E" for the Weekend

At last we went and catch the much anticipated movie, "Wall-E"!!! The kids were so excited counting down the days to it's debut especially Joe which annoyed me throughout last week. This is what he said prior till today:

"Wall-E is showing in cinemas on the 14th of August, but we'll only go watch it on the 16th of August which is a Saturday".

Mind you, he repeated the same phrase almost a whole week without failing to remind Judith and Javier too. Well, I guess he was reminding me to remind Jake. Oh I count down too.. I do put the booking schedule reminder on my 'to-do' list in my mobile. It beeps occasionally to boost my memory system.

As usual, we would call Nancy (she's Jake's younger sis) along for movies. Cecilia rarely join us for movies anymore. She's been really busy since winning the title of "Malaysia's Favorite Dancer" in So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia Season 2. I think the last time she joined us for a movie was way back then when she was still a teenager.. haha!

Anyways, I booked online thru' e-payment. That's the only way to secure the seats. I normally do that if we have plan to bring the kids for a movie. That way, we don't have to queue with the kids in tow and we don't want to risk of not getting any tickets at the line which will be quite disappointing to the kids. When you disappoint someone you love, you kinda disappoint yourself too. It's normally contagious.

Before we went for our movie, we walked around Pavilion. We went up the escalator as we were thinking of popping by Times Bookstore when something caught our eyes.

His pants are SO SO WRONG~
I mean someone who is middle-age dressing up like he's going for a ball game.. orange belt and spotty bermudas?? Boing~

So we got the tickets and went to the concessions to get snacks and drinks. I spent about RM28 on it.. I had already had a minor meeting with the kids 2 days before, asking them who they wanna sit with and their cinema menu too. These was the arrangements:

SEATINGS
Joe with Jake
Judith with Nancy
Javier with ME
*Joe had to switch seats with Judith cuz I had forgotten and bought a large Popcorn for Nancy to share with Joe without thinking that they weren't actually sitting together.

MENU
Judith : Smarties + 100plus (but there were no Smarties so she ended up with Cheezels + there weren't any 100plus either so she got a cold MILO without ice instead)
Joe & Javier : Popcorn + Sprite

During the movie, Javier was being a very good boy. He didn't make much of a fuss and didn't want to visit the loo but he did walked up and down the stairs to get to Jake. Judith slept halfway through. She has a habit of doing that, maybe it's really comfortable for her ; the temperature and environment. She seems to doze off just like that even though the movie is good.

The movie "Wall-E" is really an interesting movie. It's about life, live and friendship. It's like telling you, there can be and easy life out there but there will be consequences too. You gotta earn it to live in it. And also there are no friendship barriers between humans and bots as both need to rely on each other just like our races and the different religions we share in our country.

After the movie, we went to have some munch at 'Wong Kok Char Chan Teng'. The deco of this restaurant is much more elegant than the ones at other malls. I didn't notice the restaurant at first until I saw the signboard. I had to double check twice before being assertive. So, we went in and got a table by the window. It drizzled a little and stopped.

I ordered spicy udon...

Jake ordered noodles with sliced meat > SORRY dear, I didn't take any pictures of your food!!! Hehe.. but I took a candid picture of you!!!

Nancy ordered spicy tomyam-ish noodles...

We had HK milk tea which was so milky and sweet... and look how cute they are surrounded by ice chunkies...

Then Nancy, Jake and ME took our mobile out and started snapping away. Visible to the other annoyed patrons of what we were doing, we didn't mind nor care. We were enjoying our weekend just like the way we like it. Then, it started to rain all over again.

Storm ALERT!!!

Mobiles ALERT!!!

KIDS ALERT!!!

Birth of a New Pair of "CROCS"

I guess the title says it all. Yup Javier has a new pair of "CROCS".
YAY for him!!! My sister went to town and got them right after work.
She got him the Batman series which is quite similar to the previous one.
It's black + yellow which so coincidently, yellow is Javier's favorite color.

Yesterday evening, while the kids were getting their shoes to wear to play outside, Javier totally forgotten that his "CROCS" had been crushed. He went looking for them up/down/in/out. He also ask me where was it. In the end, I had to refresh his memories and once again he put on his long face.

Both Javier and me waited for my sis to come home with his new pair of "CROCS"
I told Javier that his 'Yee-Ma' got a surprise for him. The moment my sis showed him his new pair of"CROCS" , he gave a sly-sideway smile. He was already gleaming asking my sis if he could try it on. He quickly put them on and started hopping around the living room.
Then he gave 'Yee-Ma' a hug and some kisses!!!
He then asked if he could go upstairs and show daddy.. HAHA~
He wore his "CROCS" up the stairs happily humming!!
(Jake was bathing thou... so he waited for his dad with his "CROCS" on)

- Death & Birth the same day -
R.I.P. 'Disney Cayman'
Hello 'WB Batman Cayman'

Death of a "CROC"

This morning, I was busy getting Judith's and Javier's school bags when I heard Javier crying outside at the front door and first thing that came into my mind was that Judith must have irritated him or something. But to my shocking encounter, what happened was that one of Javier's "CROCS" have been mutilated.

The murderer is my sister's car tyre. You can obviously see the tyre marks on it. Look how 'kemek' it is. Beyond recognizable. The "CROC" itself couldn't be save. It's sad to say that it's really really dead. Javier cried and sob upon the discovery of his "CROC's" state. He was lost without words; just staring at it with tears dripping down his little chubby cheeks. Even my mom heard him crying from upstairs. She came down and had a look and she said,
"Aiyo, 'kesian', 'chamlor' can become until like that!"

Both me and my mom don't know whether to find it amusing or upsetting cause' the "CROC" did look kinda' funny in a way. But I promised Javier we'll get him a new pair. He can choose the color, the pattern, the type and the jibbitz himself. Something to clear his mind at least.
(Or maybe the so-called 'murderer' can get Javier a new pair > ngek-ngek)
Then as usual Judith will chip-in, that she needs a new pair too!!!
So just now, he wore Joe's old "CROCS" to school. Two sizes bigger for him I'd say. Managed it but still putting on his long and sad face.

Below are some newly-release pictures for your means of pondering.
BEWARE!!! They're not recommended for the faint-hearted.

-so sad-

-so flat-

-so dead-

P/S: Please be informed that I'll be going around; collecting donations to get Javier a new pair of "CROCS"... haha j/k only!

Indiana Jones > LEGO Style

Recently, my boys are falling head over heels over the DS game, Indiana Jones > LEGO.
Well they weren't actually falling head over heels over the game.. it was more like falling head over each other, fighting to play the game. They've got to take turns as only one of the DSs' are working now. One's suffering from comatose, the other belongs to Judith which are filled with mostly girly games. Eventually, Jake got them the PS3 version instead which requires 1-2 players.
Get this, Indiana Jones; The Original Adventures is "PG@Mild Violence".
Haha Jake and I don't agree cuz' after all the graphics are totally LEGO-brick style which is quite cute actually. When a character dies, there's no blood nor organs tearing apart, just the occasional drop and break LEGO pieces laying around. Not even 3 seconds it auto-reconnects its body parts then TADA~ reborn!

The only violent thingy about it is that you can hit each other's character over and over again. So it breaks and reconnect, breaks and reconnects, etc.

The game requires lots of teamwork, where one will be the monkey and the other will be the somewhat hero but then again it could be the other way round. Monkey/hero; it doesn't matter as the fun is there and this game really tests the patience of my kids plus teaching them to rely on each other. It's like if you don't help... you, me, we won't go anywhere. Most probably we'll just stay there waiting for one to give in.

For example, there was one scenario where Javier's character had to push the block from one end to the other.. then Joe's character had to go through some obstacles and jump onto that block. His character failed to reach the block, failed the second and third time too. Javier was already stressing out, sighing away. So Jake decided he would aid the patience, therefore helped Joe but Jake only made it to the block after a third try. We were all laughing seeing the LEGO characters falling and breaking and the look of 'geram-ness' Jake had going through it.

See? Games are fun. Of course too much isn't good and too little won't bring out the 'YOU' in you. Playing games alone are never fun. However playing with a friend, your family and a bunch of people is way more exciting than being a solo gamer. No wonder I don't play games.. Guess BLOGGING is the new game for loners like me! Blek~

So overall, Jake and I rate Indiana Jones, the game "Game Friendly Kidiness 9/10 "

I was just stating facts.. never put it into heart in the first place...
That is why I made your comments into a post to reassure you and all those that have second thoughts on how my life is, how is it going to be and how to live it..
To tell you the truth, it's not easy..
Whether I'm money face or not, at least I don't go around calling people names.. I have dignity.
You get what I mean?
But it hurts when you bring innocent kids into the matter..
You have stated your point and I have clearly stated mine..

After all the bad things you have said bout me, I'm sure there's a soft spot inside of you..
Therefore, "APOLOGY ACCEPTED"....

I'm SO not a SLUT

Good morning everyone.. earlier just now when I was checking my email, I found a disturbing email from someone anonymous. This is what he/she wrote:

I'll magnify it for you below... with my replies in it!!!
____________________________________________________________________

u r such a slut.
-sorry my dear.. define 'slut' :
*Dictionary: "A dirty, old woman."
*Modern slang: A girl that has se* with any and every man she wants*
-I'm not dirty, I'm not old and I dun sleep around except that sometimes I do like napping on the sofa
OMG. i m so pity with CC.
-you can pity her all you want.. I pity her too for having a supporter like you that calls her sister a 'slut'
got a supporter like u,spread ur legs & get marry.what to do?
-you're darn right.. I'm CC's sister-in law and an avid supporter who doesn't go around judging people..
-people spread legs all the time, maybe except you. GOSH~ you got to do it sometime.. is that why you're so stucked up?
-well 'sluts' don't get married, do they?
baby said:" slut mum,i want to see the world."
-aww.. don't bring my kids into this.. my kids have a dad, so their mom can't be a 'slut'..
-you won't know you might be a 'slut' or you might get a 'slut' someday

CC did pretty well.haha =)
-yeah she did very well.. she gave her best despite some tears in her elbows the day before
but u spoilt her image. Errm.
-so, how did I exactly spoilt her image? By spreading my legs and getting married?
what to do? money face!
-who is the money face? who doesn't love money? don't tell me you don't.
to buy LV,PRADA,MIU MIU or....
-sorry to dissapoint you but I don't have any LV, PRADE, MIU MIU, etc...
-the only branded bag I have is COACH and it was a gift from my family...
-does RAY-BAN sunnies count in as well? Hmm....

look at u. at age about 20,but looked like 30 or 40 auties.
-well.. you must be so blind! Better get your eyes checked or maybe you forgot to put on your glasses.. I'm only 23.. regardless if I'm 32 or how old I am or how I look, it doesn't matter because at least I've reached the maturity state of mind to address people in a proper way.
spend more money to give urself a BOTOX. oh,may b by that time,ur hubby JAke is with kakak ... alrd.
-don't need BOTOX at the moment.. Jake is always with my kakak at work... you don't have to be concern bout me.. btw, nowadays BOTOX isn't so famous dy.. there's a new one called 'The Gel'. I advice you to get some gel on your head to reduce the appearance of the word "LOSER" on your head.

take good care.!
Thank You!

Okay Anonymous.. why wanna remain anonymous?
Because you're a scare-dy cat?
You can write what you want but why don't you show your identity?
Is it because you don't take accountability to what you write and you don't want to be responsible for it?
Why don't we meet up and you tell me straight to my face?
Won't that be fun?
We could play 'tag the donkey's tail' as well!!!

SYTYCD Season 2 Finale

Friday the 1st of August was the finale of So You Think You Can Dance Season 2. It was down to the Top 4 > Black, Cecilia, Hong and Sim.. The place was packed.. the crowd was wild.. there were some ups and downs...

UPS : Fans, supporters, friends and families of CC's all came to support her...

DOWNS : Other supporters were being a "pain in the butt"...

*oh but we didn't care.. we came to support CC and not to brag about them.. which they did over and over again.. even after the results were out and the day after and I bet the days to come. *anyone wants to sponsor toothbrushes to clean their mouths? anyone, please?
*bad bad people... in competitions there are bound to be winners and losers.. if you can't accept this simple rule, then don't even compete... you're just failing yourself..
->like the saying goes, 'Don't cry over spilled milk"

Anyway, I was the photographer for the finale. I didn't get much nice shots of the performances cuz the crowd was extremely all over the place and I was blocked by people at the front.
